District report cards provide information to the public about
school/district enrollment and staff, and student performance on New
York State assessments for grades 3-8 in English language arts, math
and science; Regents, Regents Competency Tests and the English
as a Second Language Achievement Test.
By measuring strengths and weaknesses, instruction and services to students can be improved. The evaluation also helps to ensure that all students are striving to achieve high learning standards.
