To avoid a penalty, school taxes must be paid by SUNDAY,
SEPTEMBER 30, 2012.
Two percent penalty: Added for payments received October
1
to October 31.
Three percent penalty: Added to payments received from
November 1 to November 2.
School
tax payments can be mailed to the district or paid in person
at the teller windows
at TD Bank, 205 East Main Street, through November 2
during regular banking hours:
•
Monday-Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
•
Thursday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
•
Saturday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
•
Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The tax collector will be at TD Bank to answer tax questions
on the following dates:
•
September 5 – October 31:
Mon/Wed/Fri, 9 to 11 a.m.: Tues/Thurs, 1 to 3 p.m.
•
Saturday, Sept. 29: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
•
Sunday, Sept. 30: 11 a.m.
to 1 p.m.
Payments are not accepted at the Port Jervis School
District Office.
Taxpayers can mail payments to:

P. O. Box 97, Port Jervis, NY 12771
No receipt will be mailed unless requested with a
self-addressed, stamped envelope.
