Congratulations to top ranked high school students

Port Jervis High School has a long-standing tradition of honoring the top 10 graduating seniors.

Congratulations to Valedictorian Lindsay Buzzelli, Salutatorian Zachary Kondak, Chelsea Gessner, Andrew Schools, Kristin Smith, Kathleen Mahaney, Rowan Greaves, Selina Tedesco, Nathaniel Wolf, and Allastar Smith. The high-achieving students were recognized recently by the High School at the 2012 Academic Awards ceremony, where they received a standing ovation, and by the Board of Education at its June 6 meeting.



 

National Honor Society The 34 senior members of the National Honor Society were recognized at the Academic Award ceremony. They received the academic regalia they are entitled to wear at graduation.

The tradition of recognizing high achievers at the annual Academic Awards ceremony was expanded
two years ago to include top five students from the Freshmen, Sophomore and Junior Classes. Congratulations to the following students:

Juniors - Class of 2013 Krushna Shah, Lauren Schneider, Dan Obermeyer, Nobue Tashiro, Devin Rearer

Sophomores - Class of 2014 Alexander Smith, Emily Klotz Alex Moliterno, Theodore Wolf and MacKenzye Leroy

Freshmen - Class of 2015 Patricia Little, Emily Teeple, Garrett Reichert, Austin Wilson, and Taylor Johaneman
