Looking for a regular or substitute position with the Port Jervis School District?
Here's where to learn about what's available and how to apply. Information is divided into two sections: instructional/administrative and support staff/administrative.
 

• Most openings for teachers, administrators, and guidance counselors occur during the spring and summer, but interested applicants are urged to keep an updated application on file with us year-round.
   

• Job openings are posted below and on the Mid-Hudson Region On-Line Application System for Educators (OLAS).  You can complete the OLAS application on line or download the Port Jervis instructional/administrator application and return it to:

• Substitute nurses are needed year-round. 
  Substitute RNs are needed for the schools. Substitute RNs and LPNs are needed for certain bus runs. Applications are accepted throughout the year. For more information, call 858-3100, Ext. 15521.

Instructional/Administrative

• Assistant Principal - Port Jervis Middle School, temporary position, August 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014.

• ARCH/ACES Principal(s) - High School & Middle School one to four evenings per week. Effective Sept. 5, 2013. 

• ACES Teachers - 2013-14 School Year.
  - English, Math, & social Studies.
  - Special Education & Guidance Counselor.

• English Teacher - Port Jervis Middle School, Effective Sept. 3, 2013.

• Special Education Teacher - Leave replacement, ASK Elementary School, 2013-14 school year.

• Elementary Teachers B-2 and 1-6

• Librarian K-12

• Technology Teacher 7-12

• Special Education Teacher K-12 or 1-6

• Science Teachers 7-12
  The above positions are effective Sept. 1, 2013
