Tune
into cable Channel 20
Port
Jervis City School District has its own educational access
television station. Since 2008, Time Warner Cable has enabled
the District to provide local viewers with commercial-free
access to school news, announcements, and programming on cable
Channel 20.
Local cable viewers can watch live coverage of the Board of
Education meetings and other public forums. School Board
meetings are then re-aired daily at 9 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.
Meetings are typically aired for approximately two weeks until
the next scheduled meeting.
Other programming includes athletic events, special school
program, winter & spring school concerts, major award
presentations, and high school graduation. A
Program Schedule is posted
on this web site and on Channel 20.
In between the programs, a Community Bulletin Board with
important school calendar dates and announcements of upcoming
school events airs 24-7.
